Panoramic view (1)For a panoramic view of the Fortezza, climb up the hill where countless visitors have built small pyramids of pebbles. Only a few monuments have been preserved on the site, but in the early 20th century it was occupied by numerous residential buildings, which were demolished after the Second World War, enabling large-scale restoration work to be carried out in the 1990s.
