PrioratskircheIts foundations and a filled-in crypt indicate that this church dates back to the 12th century and was built at the same time as the old Gestelnburg, but the present church dates from the 16th century. Its bell tower, a Käsbissenturm (tower with gabled roof), is the only one of its kind in Valais. The nave holds a few surprises, including a pulpit with an extension in the form of an arm holding aloft a cross.
