The Knights’ Path, which winds its way up to the ruins of Gestelnburg Castle, is lined with sculptures of the village’s nine former lords. Hand-carved from larch wood by artists from the Brienz woodcarving workshop (Bernese Oberland), they are depicted in their armour, accompanied by an inscription recounting their lives.
