Agia Galini
Agia Galini Beach (2)The beach is divided in two by the mouth of the River Platis, which originates from the torrents of Mount Kedros (1,777 m), to the south-west of the Ida massif (or Psiloritis, Crete’s highest peak at 2,456 m). It is one of the longest rivers in Crete and carries water all year round. A footbridge allows you to cross it, and on the opposite bank there are also a few hotels and restaurants.
