Agia Galini
A view on Psiloritis

If you climb up to the upper part of the village, you’ll be treated to spectacular views of the sea and the mountains. Here we can see Psiloritis, Crete’s highest peak, still crowned with patches of snow in June 2026, before the arrival of the summer heat. This view was shot from the terrace of the flat where we were staying, but such views are not uncommon along the road that winds its way down to Agia Galini.
