Kissamos
Archaeological Museum

A building dating back to the Venetian and Ottoman periods houses the Kissamos Archaeological Museum, which, whilst not very large, is well worth a visit. It traces the history of the region from prehistory to late antiquity, with a particular focus on the Greco-Roman period in Kissamos. On display are some superb mosaics that once covered the floors of opulent villas from that era.
