Kissamos
Kissamos Beach

The nearest beach lies below the village, a few hundred metres from the centre. Here we see it still deserted in early June, before the high season crowds arrive. Behind us lies a whole row of tavernas and cafés, which are obviously locked in fierce competition with one another. Brace yourself for the noise, if your table at a taverna happens to be right next to a trendy bar!
