At the very end of the village’s main street, at the foot of the path that climbs up to Selino Fortress, you may be able to visit the Church of the Annunciation in Paleochora, if you’re lucky enough to be passing by when the door is open. Be sure to go inside – it’s absolutely stunning, adorned with a profusion of multicoloured paintings and icons!
