Phaistos
A rather crowded place

Almost as famous as that of Knossos, the archaeological site of Phaistos is always swarming with tourists clustered in groups around their guides. The virtual stroll we shot was therefore rather haphazard, zigzagging all over the place as we tried to avoid the crowds... Fortunately, the site is large enough to allow for a relatively quiet visit, preferably early in the morning (opens at 8.00 am in summer, 8.30 am in winter).
