Arolla
Chapel of ArollaThe little chapel of Notre Dame des Neiges (Our Lady of the Snows), built in 1908 near Hôtel du Mont-Collon, stands below Arolla in an idyllic setting. The beautiful hotel, built in 1862, which you can see below the mountain, has apparently been closed since 2015, but it does not appear to have been permanently abandoned. However, there remains a great deal of uncertainty as to whether it will ever reopen. It’s a shame, as it’s a magnificent place!
