FolegandrosA hiker's paradise, Folegandros is a rocky, arid island that has remained untouched by mass tourism. Its main village, Chora, is perched on the edge of a cliff 200m above the sea. Some consider it to be the most beautiful of all the Cyclades, and we can't disagree with them.
The rest of the island is rather disappointing, unless you love hiking through parched landscapes under a blazing sun. Apart from the port of Karavostasis, the only other village, Ano Meria, is a long line of houses built along the road that winds around the island's ridge.
