Sion & Region

The city of Sion, capital of Valais, is a very modern town but steeped in history, with a truly fascinating old town. Its surrounding area is obviously very urbanised, but the residential villages that surround it also hold some wonderful surprises.

Our exploration of the region has so far focused on the town of Sion, where there is much to discover, but we have also shot panoramic views of the surrounding villages, in the plain and on the lower slopes of the mountains that overlook the capital.
