Sonogno is a starting point for beautiful hikes. To the west lies the Val Redòrta, where the river of the same name flows. One of its tributaries, the Riale Cardèd torrent, flows into the valley at the foot of the beautiful La Froda waterfall, a half-hour walk from the village.
